Where does everyone live? Need advice

This is mostly for the guys living down south.
Choosing England as our destination to live next year. I wanted to know where you guys all live? Do you like it?

We are thinking Sheffield - don't ask why. I think in that area Derbyshire, nottinghamshire etc they are big catchment areas. so thinking along the lines of more customers. Don't really have the budget for somewhere in the south.

Any guys any experience of Sheffield or does anyone have any recommendations of places, cities, towns etc to check out instead?

I know it's quite an open question but some fun discussion to be had.
