What's best way to deal with this

Hi all. Rendering a few walls of our bungalow. As you can see from the pic it has a horrible stone kind of pillar. Artificial stuff, I was just going to render up to it either side but now thinking it will look crap. It's only 14 inches but sticks out to far to cover. Even if I cut it back a bit it will still be a bit ify. Was thinking of a quoin thing to cover the mess that it is. Be using Weber prall m. Any advice would be appreciated

Aye, looks like fyfe stone popular in the seventies and eighties as a feature panel, l would render and key it Like Ashlar.

Yer it's 70s bungalow. The front is covered in it but the side was pebble dashed until it started falling off hence why am doing it.ive got a bit rend aid left so I'll cover it then have a go. Cheers for the advice
