Its a rendaid and weber job. Would you just dub it out with rendaid ? Mesh over the whole thing ?

Worried about cracks. Customer doesnt want an expansion of course.

.. or a bellcast bead that thick to.bring inline.

either dubb out with ocr bug stress any cracks is down to.them


or step the render and create a rendered recess
 
Shes on of those clients who wants everything in writing, and i dont want to risk a crack.

Im over thinking it ? Shes the one now asking me about such things lol
 
Now ive got to explain why extra dubbing out will cost money.

Funny that, unless someone has an ocr tree growing pre bagged renders ?
 
There's no way you can guarantee that with just meshing and building level.
Unfortunately it's brick and block not toothed together so will probably fail without an expansion bead.
 
Weber would not warrant that thickness and neither should you.

Rendaid, ocr meshed, build out in layers and mesh the last coat as well.

Let each layer cure.
