What trowels best to use stainless steel or non stainless steel

Hi i was pricing up some work today. and there was an old man whos been plastering for 40 years he said and reckons not to use stainless steel trowels. he reckons u dont get the same finish. i said to him i use a stainless steel trowel and have no problems. what do u all think :RpS_cursing:
 
the stainless steel trowels of years ago where so thick they took years to run in, so i guess thats why he gave up on stainless..

I agree with him.........................ive also seen your work ;)
 
Buy some steel strip from Peter & make own trowel, last vewy vewy long time :RpS_thumbup:

thanx everyone for the help. but im fine with mine but just wondering if it would be better using non stainles thanx again
