Hi all, hope you can help here...

A good friend of mine is renovating his bathroom, he has stripped the tiles off (adhesive will also be scraped off) the wall, ideally it needs to be plastered then painted..

I've done a fair bit of boarding now, and plastering at my house but it's always been onto wooden studs, so if we was to board onto this wall which is breeze block, but over the existing board what would be the best way

Or, would you bond coat the wall then skim? if so, is this a PVA & Skim job after bonding?

I hate using bonding in bathrooms, but yes bond it out then skim it as it says above and don't forget to collect your money on the way out
 
prefer to board as the wall is crappy, crumbling etc.. is it ok to dot and dab board onto it?
