Price job up about 2 weeks ago, customer agreed to price and date when to start job.
Rolled up to job this morning wagon full a pink n beads, rung the door bell, and she tells me some one else has done the job............. no telephone calls to let me know, all she kept saying was ''i thought my husband had rung you''.... Its not as though i'm in position where i can just go onto other job, as work is scarce. has this happened to any-body else or am i just a C.u.n.t.:huh:

so you didnt ring a day or so before to qualify start time,if not then its a lesson learnt.i would always call as im sure you will in future.

saying that its damn rude to not call you.

If that's true - and I'm not doubting you - you can sue them for breach of contract.........or tell 'em you'll settle out of court for the cost of the materials (which you can leave with them) plus a fee for your lost earnings. But you really should have rung them up before you went & got the gear:RpS_thumbup:

I've got a clause in my terms that all cancellations made within 7 days of the job starting may be liable to a charge. If i can find other work I don't charge. This one would definately have been charged!!Really, phone up every client the night before??I used to do this but sometimes I'd spend all evening trying to get hold of them. I just confirm via text or email now.
