What should I do?

My original house is sandstone. A side extension was added in the 90s. Different bricks but weathered in. I am adding a first floor extension on top. My builder thought that buff roughcasting would be best to blend in.

They have also done a wall round the back of the house.

It was done this morning and I’m really unsure.

Should I paint it buff? Should I ask if they can render over it? Or should I leave it and see if looks better over time?

I am speaking to builders tomorrow but don’t know what to say.

I know it’s not the biggest problem but I have a newborn and a toddler so struggling to think with no sleep.

I am now wondering if I should stop trying to match in with sandstone and go with cream render but I don’t know if that can over the top of roughcasting. Maybe a deliberate contrast is better than matching in?

No builder visited your property
And no roofer showed up either
