Wet dash on insulation

hello all
I've been asked to insulate an old extension which is s&c render and wet dash it to match the original house.
Has anyone ever done this? I've seen it done on dry dash with 6mm chippings

I can't see why not. I think krend do a wet dash pretty mix and I have used the krend hp14 as a Base coat over insulation.

I think you have to be careful because that's a lot of weight, some suppliers don't recommend dry dash on the insulation because of the weight. That's why the thin coat system is the best for ewi

I've done wet dash over boards a couple of times. No problems to report.

Ok mate thanks will look into it.
The last time I seen it done they pined expanding meatle to the insulation and scratched it then wet dashed it I think the stuff was eglington stone?
Or simalar
