a up used some of that webber stuff to day on a small gable .it didnt seem very workable seemed to go on better when wetter but then had to two coat it and it took ages to set .just hard enough to scrape befor dark :'( is k rend a better render

will have to try and get hold of some then to give it a try . i put it over rend aid that stuff set like rock

weber is a good material just needs to be slightly wetter (nice and creamy) depending on what backgound it goes on as to how long it takes to go off , if it's over rend aid then it's going to take longer, k-rend is just as good and you can scrape it the same day but if it's over a basecoat then definatly leave it overnight, it's always a bit of a pain this time of year when the weather is starting to turn and the days are getting shorter

is it a case of lay it as flat as you can with minimum trowling ?i tried to fill out a bit .it seemed seem to want to pull off a bit . this is my first job using it which is wat i put it down too.ended up gettin the wooden float out to flatten a bit more when it had picked up enough .do i need to or can i get away with lettin it set then scrape?

using the float is a definate no mate trowel it on as flat as you can use a spatula or a small rule to flatten it off quickly don't go back filling areas out after it's all on as that can cause you 'ghosting' problems where it will leave an unsightly ring around the area you have filled out , just make sure you get it on plenty thick enough let it set , then scrape it ...invest in a I section scraper (when you got one we'll explain how to use it , you can get them from lord and downing, encon , ccf , for about a tenner

tryed to fill out as i was going along the stuff just seemed a bit sticky . is it worth giving it a coat of ocr if the background s crap or will the rend aid make it up bit . thank s for the advice by the way

you can dub bad areas out with s/c..........ocr mate then rendaid over the lot ............i hate mono mate i like it when it all falls away from the facias or slumps around heavy beads .....fcucking love it me :)
