Wall prep

Hello. We’ve bought a Victorian house and taken off the wood chip wallpaper to find flaky paint which has tested positive for lead. Photos attached.

Would be grateful for some advice on what is the best wall to proceed with prepping the walls so that we can do a skim coat?

thanks!

scrape off remaining loose paint, prep walls with a grit and embed mesh in first coat of skim.....that's how I used to do my re-skims but a lot won't go to that trouble or extra cost.
