Vapour Barrier (Aluminium Foil)

Hello All
Just a quick question if a thermal board has a vapour barrier incorporated within it, does this mean it can be dabbed to a single brick wall like an external wall of a garage or would you need to have a gap, cheers

no mate these boards have a vapour control layer as standard to reduce risk of condensation, not penetrating damp so i think if you tanked the garage first (ocr & cement slurry) then used these boards then it will be fine

The foil sits between the plasterboard and the phenolic insulation and acts as a vapour barrier
