Using masonry paint as primer?

Can I put a masonry paint on Weber laq as primer for acrylic topcoat, if so what type of paint.

Dont bother with a primer just trowel it up quicker

Need to prime big area , so is it poss with paint or do I need primer thanks

Just buy the primer with the top coat, and no need for messing about.

external paint is designed to create a barrier from weather.
primer isnt.
