Anyone used one of these for a sand & cement tyro finish or is just for bucket coats/primers?

I've that for a finished Tyrolean coat and they are decent once they get going and the mix is good.

Ian has said that by making the air hole bigger it should be better
The air hole is tiny so makes sence.
It doesn't like the heavy materials

It's was for a s/c spatter coat I drill the nozzle bigger and made the gear wetter if I'm doing a small panel of 1.5 thin coat I use about a 4 mm and wet the gear down a bit mines got an air adjuster on it so fully open

I've used the Refina one for Weber Cullamix...you have to keep adjusting the air pressure, and get the mix right...I didn't like the way alot of sand would seem to come separated from the mix when it comes out the nozzle...you can often get blockages...when your doing it feels like it wasn't designed for it if you know what I mean...job came out alright though.
