Tp pre mixed rendering sand

Has anyone used this before? Is it any good?
If so what mix for scratch and top over stone would you do?

5-1 then 6-1-1 top coat is a good render mix in most situations RMK .

Its s**t put a first coat on a house yesterday and it was like concrete to spread to many stones for my liking

You should NOT use building sand for external work, not even mixed 50:50.

I know this isn't in your language but I hope you can figure it out.

are we saying then, that tp sand is exactly the same stuff no matter where you are in the country? I find that difficult to believe somehow? logistics maybe?
now ive heard that some of the best plasterers/pargetters come from essex, and some of the worst from lincolnshire - although you'll never find a better bunch of cauli cutters anywhere on the planet...
not too sure about the south east, they all seem to spend their time up to their ankles in quicksand, fishing?
