I need to use this on a school corridor next week now I usually just use wickes and b&q for materials. firstly where is the best place to get it (the job is in sutton )and whats is it like to use as ive not used it before.

do you mean hardwall?
didnt know they still sold tough coat, ts designed for high suction backgrounds such as polyblocks.

as far as i know they still make both -

-not used toughcoat for ages

hardwall seems easier to get hold of though (well round here anyway)

Should be able to order it in from your local BM. Have they specified Dura finish over it ( high impact finish) its a pig to trowel up.( like setting with dry wall adhesive )

tough coat is nice gear. they sell it at most merchants. multi skims up nice on it. bit more a bag but u get a bit more meterage. much nicer than hardwall imo

is tough coat not more durable considering its for a school corridor if you say there is not much difference then hardwall it is

well i dont like hardwall for starters. and toughcoat is a bit like browning to use, whih i like. personal preference i guess
