Thistle Hardwall

Hi all, quick question please!

I took a 2 day Plastering Course last year and now am just starting on home project, although I have notes from
the course I cannot remember mixing up or using "Thistle Hardwall".

Having used 'Bonding Coat' & 'Multi Finish' as well as 'Sand & Cement' - base coat I know where these are applied, would Hardwall be used as a substitute for Sand & Cement base coat but for smaller quantities/area?

Hardwall is fine instead of s and c once there is no damp or salts

Hardwall is effectively the same as bonding coat but it is designed for high suction backgrounds. Just use it the same way. Skim once it has set or if you want to do it the next day give it a very weak coat of pva
