This doesn't look good

This is a newly rendered wall. The line is what I am not happy with. It is where some render has been sprayed upwards and some downwards - where the scaffold boards were. Is this inevitable?

Thanks both for replying. What's the solution - it's a silicone based thin coat render. Can it be remedied or made to look better without replacing? Would the whole wall have to be resprayed or chipped off and done again?

Sometimes you rock up to jobs/sites and the scaffold is set, set for the roofers or whatever else.

Sometimes there is no consultation with the trades doing the facades. And it's just expected you get over it.

I have asked for them to be amended before starting before. I didn't do 2 in the past because the builder didn't want to pay the scaffolders (twice). The other thought I was lying.

Both looked s**t. Terrible band lines (worse than above). And many many pole marks where they didn't adjust them away, and just rendered around them and launched muck in there - making good after. Shocking.

They are now the 'told you so' jobs.

f**k**g crap.

Better off swerving them and saving your name.

100% agree. Either the scaffold is made suitable or I just won't do it.
