Hi chaps.
I have some rendered concrete window cills on my house, the tops get really grubby and look horrible.
I'd like to apply a thin coat of a coloured render with a smooth finish which hopefully will stay looking nicer for longer.
The tops can't be seen from the ground so it hasn't got to be a good colour match from the painted sand and cement render on the house.
The paint will be fully scraped off.
Many suggestion in the product would be great.
Many thanks

Dave

have you looked at parex dpr sand really really smooth like half a mm grain ? piontless if you ask me.

you can get an acrylic that is like a paste it goes on and is left off the trowel but there is a knack to applying it, when you do T&J by hand and you leave the edge feathered into the board with your joint cement yeah - its a bit like doing that with each successive stroke into the next but i recon a window stone would be easy

not as easy as painting it mind

the old guys who taught me used a product called ardurit which was like an adhesive (cement based) almost like floor tile adhesive which was spread on thinly (primer brushed on first) then sponged. am sure there must be something similar on the market these days? best of luck with it
