Thin coat render on cement board

Evening all.
I’ve mainly used aqua panel to render on too, can anybody recommend other makes of boards?
had a rep telling me about certain boards failing.

What boards are failiing?what render are you using?

there are some.crap boards out there.

aquapanel is a good board. why are you looking to change?

i only ever use 2 boards. aquapanel or resistant multirend boards.

MGO boards have been pulled by nhbc for any newbuilds as like yoi said there has been some failures by some cheap makes

Resistant multirend got pulled and removed by nhbc on 1st Jan 2019 they will void any warranty due to loads of failures and being magnesium oxide

Nobody will guarantee any rendering onto render board. Ironic isn’t it. Use Johnson’s key coat with mesh bedded in for base coat , top off with one coat render
