i have a new build house to render using parex dpr its all on to new block which is all over the place . would it be best to pull out beads where needed and thin coat or just ocr the lot prior to top coat . we dont have a big demand for this type of finish around our way so i do not have alot of experience in this field.so any other tips would be cool cheers paul

you dont wanna put thin coat on block you want something like their parmurex basecoat (ocr) at 10mm then prime and texture coat with the dpr over that. make sure the basecoat dries out for week or so

if the dpr is white would it also be best to apply 2 coats of primer as the base is grey??

You don't need to mesh anymore than with any render........if anything the lower surface tension of a multi layer system ie base, prime and flexible top needs meshing less than the likes of monocouche and fined down s&c IMO. It's usually as part of a thin coat system hence the mesh all the time but thick coat.....it's really a customer option for ultimate peace of mind but not essential really butt
