Hello All,

If you are experiencing slow page loads in the evening it is because we have already out grown our server :RpS_scared:

I am going to be upgrading to a bigger even more powerful server as soon as I can get some funds cleared as we are going to go up 2 stages so the server should be more than enough power and so that should cover us for a bit longer....

The forum is really growing nicely and we are getting very busy which is great news

yep its slow at moment on my computer, i thought it was the shite conection at my end.

Thought my Wife had been downloading Porn again!!! While im at work...
 
Most of the time it is due to a shite net connection but on the peak times it slows up....

I just cant make the leap to the new server just yet as its about 2.5 times more expensive than the current one.... :RpS_scared:

So I have been working on finding more sponsors to take up the slack....

Its not toooooo slow just sometimes it does slow right down....
 
Maybe you sould set up a VIP system. It works very well on another forum im a memeber of. £25 a year subscription. I know that i get enough good info of here to easyily justify that and im sure others feel the same.
 
I have always promised I will never charge the members and I gonna stick by it :)

We are getting to a stage now that it should be a lot easier to get sponsors

its not a charge its a gift,and its not compulsory but anyways everyone seems against it so thats saved me £25

i know im a newbie but have learnt loads with reading alone! and like i have said 20yrs in the game so never too old!!!!!
 
People would get a VIP badge under their name like the "Mods" have. As I said its a suggestion and works well else where.
