TF render failure

Hello.

I've recently done a render job on a tf extension over OSB board.

Builder prepped and wasn't done properly.

No battens to crameate cavity. Just membrane and EML pinned straight to the OSB.

Would it be possible to to insulate with polystyrene type boards, mechanically fix, then k rend over the top of that?

After a solution where I do not have to take off the failed render if possible.

i would still take the render off mate. but yes ewi and thincoat system

Thanks for the reply. Yes I'd rather take it off to be honest but that's an option he's took well and truly off the cards.

you still need a cavity anx a sheething board ideally.

if extension is insulated already id personally go batten board and render saving cost and thickness/adaptions of cills etc
