How do you take a good picture of a skimmed wall/ room. Never seem to be able to get it right. ( i.m that rought) but seriously i sometime get lucky and want pics to show potential customers but never seem to be able to get the light right. Few i have took tend to be of walls with natural light coming on to.
I

I used to take pictures of every job
But not so much now. Just take em at end when tidied up

Dont think my camera is ro great on phone either . We were just talking today bout doing some leaflets and posting em round posh areas .

Had a kid with us once . Was a bit rough ( came of here as well) he did a big ceiling with lad then advertised with pictures of lads half of ceiling lol

Tripod for still shot or set timer and take a action shot. Nothing to see with a pink wall so catch yourself working for something interesting to look at. Nothing more boring than a finished job. People want to see a mess and a disaster.. See if I can find one as example....

Or when a job is half done with something going on like

That's it, mate. Natural light is the best light you can get. As someone else said, take loads of pics and use you camera if you can, not your phone.

Makes me giggle when people put up pics of skimming and ask what people think - you can never see any detail, which is what matters of course, so just before and after a good clean is best you can do.

all about where the light is coming from :D

Do what I do.... take a s**t tonne of photos and then edit them till they look good :D

Gonna have to sort this phone . Memory is full yet got a 32 gb memory card but it wont send my pics to it

If you want good pictures you really can't beat using a decent camera and then, as others have said, take plenty of shots and choose the best.

Just steal pictures of other people’s work and say you did it. They will soon realise your s**t after you finished
