you need about 400 lts to give you a good range for texturing. 350lts can achieve it but i prefer to have the 400 lts there under the bonnet sometimes for a quick touch up coat
 
was thinking the other day can you unplug the onboard compressor on a machine like the xl and fit the same plug on say an lk402, and use it on auto off the air switch like normal spraying instead of running with a remote lead? Just that I used the mono gun(because I forgot the swing) to lay on acrylic which we hand finished and it was proper convenient all off the air switch. We realised that the mono gun is better for fast laying on if you are finishing by hand and the panel is large enough to warrant the machine instead of the swing gun which gives a finer texture but is not as nice to spread about
