Hello guys

Im drylining a kitchen on wednesday, but the walls painted old more than one layer of thick silk magnolia paint, - Ive gone at it with old screwdrivers and tried to score it - no chance..... I think theres green paint under some of it...

So I need help as im stuck and dont fancy dabbing onto the paint...

Any ideas, folks thanks..

ah that green paint is the worst man.... :-( though i did come across some bright orange stuff once, never again... :RpS_blink:
thought of bonding agent?

thanks,

will the wba definately hold the dabs plus boards...

and also is not a case of how strong the silk paint is. I know ive said i cant remove it but what about when its had boards dabs and skim hanging off it for a few years?

thanks

youll have long been paid up by then... :rolleyes)

anyway, time theyve drilled through the boards into the wall to fix the kitchen units up it aint gonna go anywhere... :RpS_wink:

and if theyre not fixing units to it.. red plugs, zinc washers and longish drywall screws when the dabs have gone off and before you skim it... :RpS_thumbup: as per warriors advice...
