Stone wall

I have a stone wall in a cotage to price tomorrow, that's dried out and needs replastering.

Can i use dri-coat? it's only one small wall, so don't really want to get the mixer out and use sand and cement.

Do you have to use dri-coat/limelite/s&c? on stone?

Also can you use multi finish over dri-coat?..

What the same day? or did you have to leave it 24 hours before skimming?

Your supposed to leave it 24h but i've skimmed same day when i been desperate , with no come backs , i have heard some horror stories though when skimming same day
