stilts (again)

can you use stilts on ur own..no lab at all...ie can u mix up get on um..then put it on..get off clean kit..the mix up again..then on and off ect..

yeah i use stilts on my own. if i skim a big ceiling, i put a platform in the middle or to the side of the room, put the mix on it, tools and clean water bucket.

mix up a bag of multi. put stilts on, lay on the plaster and flattern plaster
take stilts of mix another bag of multi, lay it on
take stilts of, mix another bag of multi for the 2nd coat
flattern of the plaster and apply 2nd coat
and then trowel up

also bought a marshalltown dry wall pouch to put tools in

same as, you just need to make sure your tools are within reach, nothing worse than getting up on stilts only to realise you've left your hawk on the floor!
