ive never sponged before ....first time tried it today ....after seeing @theclemo pics from the other day.
always done alright without it.
skimmed top floor of 3 bed house and shower + ceilings.
onsite for 9 set up loaded bags for plot + moved half pallet of adhesive.
started mixing for 10.30
everything skimmed by 4.30.
couldnt believe the time difference.
not one mark of sponge shown through.
my floors are still a f**k**g mess![]()

sounds like an Almost identical day to the one I had last Thursday. 3 double bedrooms ensuite and family bathroom

I have started using scrim on the skirting line then pulling it off near the end of the set so it leaves a clean line lineIt looks great

I used them on some boards that crumbled up a bit around the socket ideal for that mate
Quite often see loft hatches and access panels like that, the socket is new to me though.
