spread

hi all I have a question for ye. I have a real interest in plastering but don't think I should spend four years doing an apprenticeship at it. I am working with two experienced plasterers. should I learn off them for a while and go out working myself or do the 4 year course .

If you actually enjoy the trade and your working with 2 really good spreads day in day out, then I wouldn't bother with college it's all f**k**g paperwork it's a hands on job and you learn it and get experience doing it on site, apprenticeships would last longer than 4 years back in the old days, you seem like you want learn it all quick so u can go it alone,my advice take your time graft your b*ll***s off and learn everything these guys know it takes time and experience to be a top spread

My advice is; if you're one of the two spreads this fella is working with, teach him the absolute minimum needed for him to make to you more efficient. Teach him what he wants and he'll f**k off and just be more competition.
