Hi all just thought I would share my hpx experience with you.
put it through my ritmo m and even though the machine took it well I didn't like it that much lol.
Water was at 150 as this was the best setting we found that would stick to the painted walls, any wetter and it just ran straight down but found that at this setting and speed 8 it went on thick enough for us to bed the mesh in and not have to put any more over the top of the mesh to cover it.Our total area of hpx was 100 Sqm and for the first time I used it i got to say it wasn't a nice experience but again it was the first time.top coat e grad which was a dream to spray after the hpx :RpS_thumbsup:
Anyway I have just placed my first order of 140 bags of SaS Europe's scratch render (hbs) in the colour of mr whippy and will be spraying this on in the next two weeks as its got to be base coated first because its on thermelite blocks (I do not know why it was built with these).Anyway have used a few sample bags of this by hand and it is like spreading cream totally different to weber and k rend if laying on by hand IMO anyway will keep you all posted on the spraying of the sas gear my fellow machine pals:RpS_thumbup:

Let me know how you go on. Nice to know it is easy by hand. Their hbs mono is a cheaper version of their Silicone mono. I recently sprayed their Float and unless it is on the wet side it stiffens up to quick for my liking. It felt very 'Limey' to me which is not a bad thing. Slow to set and dry out which can be a good thing and doesn't set to hard. The aggregate is certainly sharper than Webers ocr but not as creamy as Webers ocr. Their prep is nice gear to use and has a grainy aggregate which is unusual for a stick pre-rend.

I would use it again if the job needed a warranty. Otherwise W's ocr.

Got 75m of krend next week with a hpx base. Will use the texture gun and high flow air to spray a nice 3mm on, mesh, then another few 2mm. I plan to spray nice and wet

Will let u know if my ritmo hpx adventure is any better.

Will do mate. I'll post a YouTube vid. Sprayed Parinter a few weeks back like this and all went well so hoping this should be more or less the same

Used that parinter a few times now over a painted surface.did you use it as a backing currier or as a finish?
I have a large job to price.they want mono but are not keen on taking off render.whats your thoughts on parinter, then mono finish?
