Sponge instead of devil?

Hey.

I’m completely new to this game and seem to be learning quick from mistakes with a little help from reading this forum.

Just a quick one. I was told when floating with hardwall/bonding it’s easier to devil float with a sponge float instead of a devil float.

I was told It closes the plaster in better and still provides the required key for the skim.

Anyone able to help confirm this. ?

ive always used plastic abs floats. cant beat them. float a wall up in seconds.. dont over think it mate

I scud coat my hardwall with s@c b4 I skim. Don't float it at all
