anybody ever been bitten by one at work ,I was cleaning out a jackdaw nest from an old flue it came crashing out along with some big spiders felt this nip like an ant bite b*****d /been bit before when dropping old ceilings

Yes I've been bitten by the bastards several times. Some of them bloody painful.
Moved our diesel mixer a few months back and a rather bulbous spider fell to the ground. Thought that colouring rings a bell. Googled it and sure enough it was a Fake Widow Spider, very soon became an ex Fake Widow Spider.

Sure it was a spider lymes disease from ticks gives a ring pattern
 
I got bit in bed on my neck. it wasn't a vampire. It was like a blister took a few week's to go . Wife found a dead spider when she made the bed. The other day I killed a false widow spider in our bedroom. I've got them in the garden.this was the one I dispatched . Nasty buggers.

u sure it wasn't the wife that bit your neck while u slept
 
I knew an old boy who was in the raf.in Singapore. He said that geckos lived behind pictures on your walls and at night while you slept they came out and ate all the cockroaches and spiders. Job done.
