Hi all

Yeah thats it, soaking the unit usually works if the blade slot hasn't been cleaned properly.
The cleaning & maintenance recommendations can be found on the handle sticker and on the website FAQ section.

Good news is since 5th January this year we've introduced a modification on the ST (blue) that reduces maintenance - this is in the form of a co-ex rubber seal. This means less cleaning for the Plasterer and easy blade change. By sealing the blade slot (no silt buildup) this also enhances the products performance by allowing the PVC to expand, keeping the blade straight in ranging temperatures.
This co-ex seal will also be introduced to the SF (pink blade) in around 6 weeks.

We are going to start selling handles as a spare part on our website, because like blades and other components they can become damaged.
