I'm same. Bought one thinking I could do whole houses in a day with it.Could only ever use it on ceilings, can’t hold it properly for walls
good for a couple of flattens on large ceilings. can’t see how to hold it and maintain even pressure on it. No good for walls imoI'm same. Bought one thinking I could do whole houses in a day with it.
Laid on, went to flatten with the speedskim and pulled all the plaster off the wall. Chucked it in the van and never used it again.
Only a 1.2, but the method of handling it is exactly the same as when using a 2.5 featheredge. Bear in mind that for the first 25+ years all my work was f&s, using a featheredge is just second nature to me.you ever tried a large speed skim on a wall? Nothing like a feather edge
