Speed skim on concrete?

Got some concrete paths to do at home gona use ready mix just wondering to help flatten it out would a speed skim be any good after tamping or would it mash the plastic up? Just wondering is alllllll..?

Not a great idea i would not use a speed skim use a feather edge mate then finish with float same way as screeding.

As said mate I would imagine that they are a little to delicate for that.

are the footpaths flat or do they have sloaps

Yeh did think that will just tamp off trowl smooth and then a slight sweep with a rough brush for grip, I will put a slight slope on to let water run off and stop water pooling, just being lazy and c if it would be easier lol
