Alright chaps! I'm thinking of buying one of these refina spats everyone's goin on about, so wer wondering what you lads think of um? Wer guna go for the 600mm start with, and also can you finish with um and get a spot on finish?

Av got a Refina 22" finishing spat for doing mono and its mint defo recommend one
 
Just like a big comfy trowel. They don't close the wall straight away tho, so can be very off-putting.

Its a different way to skim, and definitely takes some gettin used to. Only ever used them on multi tho. Board finish might be different, and spray finish is definitely different again.
 
Two foot for starters.

I only use mine for reskims, but they don't half sort out the wall.
