When working with students in the classroom, one session that they enjoy is how to build a business, this involves is making a website and building a social footprint

I remember years ago when I was starting up my plastering business, one of my marketing strategies was to spend hours looking through the yellow pages identifying my target audience , then composing a letter of introduction typing it up getting it copied and posting it out to all the companies that I had targeted. This would occur a great deal of time, cost of postage and with limited results.

Today all you do is build a website , join twitter, build up a following and send tweets, obviously this still incurs time and effort, but no cost, and guess what twitter is full of traders doing exactly the same thing, plus you reach much wider audience. And twitter is just one of many forms of social media, but for me personally I think it is the best
So for me all I can say is thank god for social media :rolleyes)
