Completely agree, local wickes is bloody useless, will never use DIY stores again for finish, would ideally like to switch to carlite if I can find it for a little cheaper than £11 a bag.f**k the Diy stores, they have been a proper shower of s**t throughout all this lockdown b*ll***s. My customers are paying £25 a bag until prices increase, then it will be £30Every plasterer in the country should now be charging carlite prices and if they get any multi it's a bonus
Thats good then maybe they will give one price for joe public and one for the trade so we can make profit on materials like other trades.Apparently BG are putting prices up. Has this chaos all been part of the plan
Because when the tossers at BG get back in full flow every spread in the land will return to what they know best mate. Prices will have to drop a bit to compete. Why would they? Makes no sense?

No bonding in the merchants yesterday so the builder picked up some Fassa they had in. £9+vat a bag. Not used it yet but if it’s good that’s healthy competition From a reputable manufacturer
Z150Whats the name of the Fassa product?
Got 5 bags from jewson this morning. Still warm, just off the truck. £48.
