Hello All
Just after some advice if this will work; got a mate who has a couple of small damp patches just slighly discolouring the paint work, they are on the inside wall neighbours wall opposite fine, knock back plaster to brickwork in all effected area's 2 good coats of SBR slurry then S&C with waterproofer, once dry reskim whole wall, any advice much appreciated

Find and sort out what is causing the damp patchs. then knock back the bad bits wet the areas then WBA, hardwall patches and skim the whole wall ;D

About right mate , but has been mentioned try an solve the damp problem first then carry out this procedure, don't use any lightweight backing plasters when following up on damp issues unless it's dri-coat , limelight etc , prefer sand cement myself

Hello Mate
Thanks for the reply, yes checked everywhere for cause and not found anything, its an inside wall but the neighbours wall seems fine and is wall papered which normaly shows it up quite well. Going with sand & cement never used Dri-coat but heared its very good, cheers again
