when you say skimming do you mean with Multi Finish or with a backing plaster like hardwall?

i can dot the side but the underneath I will have to skim on to the concrete lintel is that possible wat I am asking will it take micky

a coat of pva and skim.

Bonding a skim mix then just second coat with skim. Pva first.

I skimmed a load of concrete beams in a big underground car park
One coat of pva then stick the beads then another stronger coat of pva and skim away it's still there to this day

i skimmed rounded upright concrete beams on hotels before....just chipped off and lumps pva'd and skimmed.
