Skimming damaged plasterboard.

Skimming a dot and dabbed kitchen next week, the client has taken the tiles off along with the front of the plasterboard paper in many places. It's only back to the plaster of the board in a few small areas.

Can this just be pva'd or should it be blue gritted(or similar), or anything else?

Depends on how much damage ,if bad as bubbles said if only a little pva should do the trick

Do a lot of this.. get all the bits of teared board off, fill all large holes, strong PVA coat and let dry overnite, then PVA as normal and skim,

PVA seems to work better than Bond It for jobs like this mate..
