You can only put the scrim around the edge just touching the walls not a 90deg scrim, if there are gaps at the wall, fill them first, then scrim.

Run scrim around the edge but warn a possibility it could crack, if it does a tube od decorators caulk is 83p in b and q(y)

Scrim up to the edge and then after skimming caulk around the edge, it's something I've always done.

scrim the joint with half on the wall. when the ceiling has set blend the scrim on the walls with easy fill.

Why not just scrim half half then once plastered cut the bit off that's on the wall

Why not just run a bead of caulk around the edge, bugger messing about feathering easi fill over scrim tape, would imagine that looks s**t anyway

I have never used scrim then chopped it off... if the walls ain't getting plastered the the ceiling get skimmed and that's it.. if it cracks... which it probably won't then paint will get it and if they are persistent a bit of caulk will do

Same here
I ain't gonna fanny around easi filling down a wall then waiting for it to dry then sand I just scrim half and half on ceiling line once skimmed say 3-5mm that will hold it in place and be tighter than if you only tape on board then just cut it with a Stanley when dry or tell them how to do it or tell the painter job done never had a call back on it so if any have cracked I don't know about it

Cracks happen if plaster is unsupported. so I put tape upto the walls making sure it's covering any board edges. shouldn't be a problem. in fact I do this upto windows and doors also exposed beams etc .. works a treat and always explain if cracking should happen then decoraters mate will sort if needed.
