site newbie

Names gaz,Just realy looking to read some tips of the trade im a lvl 2 student at college in scotland ive had problems with my back so ive been sitting about bord,,Im not new to the industry,Done a few kitchens and a few bathrooms few halls,i can second coat and polish up not to bad, i usaly do taping on site but pure sick of it hate the sanding process its s**t lol,,Cant say i realy need and ipad but throw it this way if u like haha.(joke),thanks for making us welcome

That's more like it, suffered with my back something terrible a while back know that pain too well. Are you anywhere near Kilamuntuchty?
 
Ive just read that over and over to see if ur taken the piss lol,lol soz i have no idea where that place is,im in the central area .

Lol ,The drywalls already fitted on the jobs i go to i just tape them up by hand or ill box it if i can get a good run at it,,plasterings defo a better game tho less tools and no sanding,plus theres more job satisfaction in plastering but maybe thats coz ive not been at it years lol,,most of the jobs i will most likely be doing in the future will be reskim cosmetic prob on already painted surfaces so would be cool to get some pointers,,,seen some newbies gettin the pure s**t ripped outa them so al prob just read away instead of asking for a bit haha
 
Ive been doing it so far by controling the suction with pva taking my time taking the break beetween coats and keeping things tight and clean,I havnt realy done any massive areas but i will get there im sure
