Silicon carbide half sheet mesh

Has anyone tried the above for hand sanding? how did you get on or should I just abandon and use conventional sand sheets?

Silicon carbide is traditionally used for sanding very hard substrates. What are you planning on sanding?

To prevent mesh sheets from clogging they need to be connected to a dust extractor. For hand sanding you will find that mesh sheets leave "grains" in the direction you are sanding. If you want good abrasives, buy from Mirka or Festool.
