Here's he two coffered ceilings. Copper tones metallic trowel applied thixotropic paint finish. It's like a velvety velour. Just need to do something with the extractor housing but still undecided

The base material. I use a medium grained marmorino as the base for a polished finish. I use a small external twitcher which is about 1 Ince big on each face plate and get the edge neat. Gentle sand when dry then you have a crisp edge for your polished coats to go on to. When burnishing the last polished coat cut across the external corner in towards the rest of the wall. This eliminated the risk of chipping the plaster when working the corner itself. Hope his makes sense @jamesthefirst

No probs. Every part of the finish want to be right. The smallest imperfections can let a whole wall down

In italy also my supplier (y),am going see him in spring again lots new stuff being developed all the time plus your only limited by your imagination. Love natural materials and would happily work solely with if i could lack of effort on my part i guess.:descansando:

Depends on the finish /layers obviously more indepth time spent more its gonna cost.but you can cost it against cheap or expensive tiles plus labour gives you some idea.its the application and thought that goes into each project that counts anyone can make it shiney its making it look as natural as poss or clever application that makes people stop and wonder what it is and how its been done. Time spent once again ,some people doing some very clever and beautiful things out there with this stuff but also some making hideous messes.

As stated above, no fixed price as the finishes vary as do the cost of materials and labour involved plus everyone charges what they consider the jobs worth as in all trades so pointless trying to attach m2 price.

Venetian finishes vary massively. Cheaper end are the thixatropic point finishes that start about 25 pound per metre and can increase up to 60 pound per metre. At the other end of the scale a fine marmorino (polished plaster) starts about 70 pound a metre and can go up to 120 a metre. The price varies massively on the job
