Show house

It's an indication just how shite the prices are when the site lads need to be bursting out these kinds of metres day in day out for a decent wage.

I don't doubt there are top plasterers out there that don't know any different but you shouldn't need to work that hard to put food on your table IMO.
Getting back to op that's why I asked how much they do now.

Kitchy tell the misses your pricing a job in blackpool mate....il show ya the sites and work and take you out on the piss for the night in blackpool you cant loose !!!

Right kitchy 1 more beer and im off to bed gotta be up at 5 to drive into centre of manchester to help these f**k**g painters out......whod ever thought spreads working for painters !!!!!

On site two coating everything with my apprentice ,we try for 80 - 100 m a day, bringing cupboards and awkward bits in with big areas ,we try for 10 - 14 bags a day

I did half a room with 1 coat and the other half with 2 coats the other day. U can't tell the difference. Just because u seen 1 coat plastering done s**t doesn't mean it can't be done right. I've seen plenty of s**t 2 coat work
Did it all look rough as fk?

I certainly believe a good spread can make one coating a good job
However I find I get more ground covered two coating, and it's easier too.
I do average 70 to 90 a day depending on the house.
9 bags.

Never seen a one coat "specialist " leave a good job, ever. Doesn't mean they don't exist but in 14 years and having met loads of plasterers in various gangs I've never met anyone that leaves a nice job one coating.

Love half bag Fridays, although thought I'd be on the settee by now but a couple of inconsiderate customers are needing some jobs priced. One even had the audacity to text me!

Believe u pal..get some pics banged up..wat do persimmons pay m2 for skimming? Do loads down our way never worked for them..il hold my hands up was probably wrong term to use just going by wat ive seen personally with other 1 coaters

These dont do it much justice.....shitty dark houses skimmed with doors or windows in draft everywhere....(and hungover)

up at 5? f**k that, that's the middle of the night you nutter.

My alarm goes off at 4.50am every morning then 10mins snooze then up for the day! That min after alarm goes off, f**k**g hate it but once up, glad I am because when I wasn't working when things were really bad here, up at 12 miday and was actually more tired during the day doing f**k all.

What you doing up at that time, I used to get up at 5.30am to go to the gym :musculoso: but those days are long gone.

Would love to go to gym at that time but up that time, breakfast and make sure I take a s**t before leave the house. I drink this high fiber stuff (lepicol) and if I leave the house without shitting, I'll be doing it in a field lol. Great turds thou with this stuff lol. Leave house at 6 and on site for between 7.30-8.00. 1.30 hours away working and hit roadworks too :(

Nothing worse than busting for a s**t before work, and especially if you got a domestic job on and first thing you do is smash the toilet.

My alarm goes off at 6.30 and most days it's a struggle. At the weekend I'm awake and bright as a button about 5.30! Unless I'm hungover then I'm rolling about with the fear all morning
