Seal with gardz

Anyone used zinsser gardz as a sealer prior to skim? Just wondered. It's brilliant as a sealer over 100 year old chalky surfaces and would work great on contract emulsion to prime. Not sure if it's good to skim over through?

Gardz is a stabiliser and will neutralise wallpaper paste. Bind chalky surfaces. Seal. On paper nothing better for the money. Maybe. Just wondered what people thought

nice I am going to take a look at that
£26- 32 for 5lt and will do loads. Big HLS I used 2lt. I wonder if a coat of gardz then a quick Pva or just go on the gardz. I read some plaster over gardz when dry but rather hear what people think on this forum
