it won't hurt mate if youre doing the boarding and you go through the paper ...........most of my works site work so i blame the bloke before me but its rare that it happens most of the time it's when you struggle to get a fixing like an overboard ......dont go scrimming over every screw ;D

there are lots of reasons they pop, insulation Court between the stud-work and boards, screws driven into the boards to far boards not pulled up far enough, should only pull the board up till the screws are flush with the boards but are tight to the stud-work, and, i just love it when they leave a screw head sticking out so you smash your skimming trowel on it

If I am on site I give them a smack with a hammer.. if domestic out comes the screw gun ....lol
