roughcast with hairline cracks

Hi guys
When to see a garden wall today which has been roughcasted, there are a couple of hairline craks. Is it best to use a angle grinder to open it up and then patch it ??

I'd tell em to paint it again you'll prob end up making it more obvious

Yeah, no 2 plasterers seem to put it on the same - too many variables..........it WILL look worse!

mix a bit of exterior polyfiller in the paint and force into cracks then paint over as normal
