We're based down in Swansea FreedD. You are welcome to come down if you would like to see the ritmo. We are doing the training for a render/backing plaster and skim on Tue & Render and thin coat textures on Wed. You would be more than welcome to come down have a nose and see what you think of them working.

Do you do the training days often? Can't make it next few weeks but would love to come down for the day soon.

The training day are for the customers who have purchased a machine, you are welcome to call down and spectate. Or if you want an actual demonstration give me a ring and we can arrange it no problem brother

Finance could be an option whats the APR?. Sorry about the bones.

Dunno but its a very good rate because the finance is secured on the machine. If you know what set up you want i.e. skim and render render and texture full b*ll***s all included etc i can do you a quote and get them to ring you with a quote. Normally its 10% down of the net value and all the vat up front. for eg ritmo with skim set £6.5 k plus vat 1.3k so 10% is £650 plus 1.3k is £1950 total deposit leaves £5850 over 48 months for eg is approx £140 a month these are just example figures so dont quote me

used them all, the screw pump one is thicker and easier to sand. the airless is quite wet to use and very fine and heavy with no body. there is a 3rd other type for going on block, tbh i didnt rate it because of the prep involved. the finish is very good but soft. Would be profitable with 2 lesser skilled helpers and 1 pro

I have been looking in to this stuff, can't see the point of it???

Is its selling point that it is for cheaper machines that dont have to mix it? Oh and no water on site?

Does it need sanding? If so is it just like level 5 tape and joint

depend what substrate is.

concrete prefer readymixed plaster cos you can apply loads

board prefer a plaster you finish in one visit.

The thing with a specialist product like plano etc is that you cant find people with a pump and equipment who are looking for that type of work, They are busy You end up having to do it yourself plus all the prepping etc. You even end up sanding down. With a skim finish you can always pull in a few plasterers to get things up to date on the programme by hand applying the bg spray finish. Then the client ends up seeing that he may as well have used normal skimming in the first place.

doesnt need sanding, trowel it up with a spat, no water needed, no wastage as its premixed so you fire it through a mangel to get all the product out.
i was impressed with the gear

Thanks guys will get the reps out on the next precast we get as we seem to have all the stuff to do this. I take it the ritmo can spray these ok? How much is the mangeler addon?

owls,

were not seeing him at ingham or whereever that is pal. if your uti sprays it then my jet will do too, see the deco i am looking at and the airless what product did you see ? they told me to finish off the spat too - no mention of sanding at all.

ive posted about ths product before on here, might be in the private section have a search.
immngham near hull, its knaufs main trainng centre and plasterboard production line. my utiform wont spray it it was an airless system that we used.
the reason why i was there, was i act as a rendering/plastering consultant for a sustainable building company and we were seeing what product was compatable for a certain bulding system.

it was part of the machine they had,
not being funny but they wont entertain site visits and demos unless your a half decent size outfit

"the bag roller" to squeeze out all of the compound, imo it will be deffo needed because you wouldnt wanna be ripping into bags of wet compound and trying to get all the goo out from all round the bag. all part of the no waste procedure too
